Crimea Tatar youth leaders participated in Turkic youth forum

The Honour Chairman of the Crimean Tatar Youth Centre (CYC) Eskender Bari and the Head of the Crimean Tatar NGO Bizim Qırım Abdurahman Egiz participated at the 8th Council of Leaders of the International Turkic Youth Organization (ITYO) held at the end of May in Baku, Azerbaijan.

According to Eskender Bari, the council that gathered youth leaders of all Turkic peoples discussed issues of holding of the 14th ITYO Qurultay including issues of place, terms and financing of given event. As E. Bari noted, as a preliminary this Qurultay will take place in September or October of current year in Crimea.

"Also delegations' members told about situations in the Turkic regions. We told about the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars that held recently in Crimea" - the CYC Honour Chairman stressed.

"Issue of a Football Federation of Turkic Peoples affiliated with UEFA was put again. We informed about ways, scheme and needed steps for realization of given idea. Also delegates talked about a possibility of the Crimean Tatar young people's internship in the Turkic parliaments" - E. Bari told.

Moreover, by his information, participants talked about a question to conduct a young Turkic businessmen forum and they consequently adopted a decision to establish an organizing committee for this. Representatives of Crimea, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan entered to this organizing committee.

Furthermore, according to E. Bari, ITYO Elders Council suggested an idea to revive the Turkic Peoples Assembly as a Turkic Peoples Congress.
